With the "Custom Affiliations" function, you can assign any person a role at your school yourself, provided that this person cannot be taken automatically from one of the upstream systems of the education portal. Before using this function, please check that the desired person cannot actually be created automatically and that no technical defect on the part of the data synchronization with an upstream system is the cause of the person's absence. If in doubt, please contact support@bildung.gv.at for individual clarification before using this function.

Open form

Find the function "Affiliations" in the widget "School information". Plase click on the button "Send invitation" to open the form.

To add a person to your school in the education portal, please click on the "Send invitation" button. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite person and select the appropriate role from the dropdown. Optionally, you can select an expiration date for this affiliation. In this case the affiliation will will be automatically terminated at the specified time. Otherwise, you will have to terminate the affiliation yourself at a later date.

You can adjust or deactivate the expiration date of the school assignment at any time. However, it is not possible to change the email address or role afterwards.

Acceptance of the invitation

The invited person receives an e-mail with an invitation link. Using this link, the person can now register in the education portal and are automatically added to the school. If no other kind of authentication is possible, the person can use ID-Austria.
