How can I verify the validity of an electronically signed document?
For school reports or documents signed with the official digital signature, the digital version of the document constitutes the original. You can verify the document's validity and download the original version of the document from the education portal.
To validate a document open the Validate option of the Officially signed documents & deliveries widget on the Dashboard of the education portal.
If you were provided with the printed version of a document, click the Use camera button
Scan the QR Code of the official electronic signature.
If you were provided with the digital version of a document, or if you do not have a camera, copy the Document ID of the electronic signature in the Document ID field.
Click the button Validate
Detailed information on the document is displayed. Open the digital original of the document by clicking the name of the document. Check that the status of the document is valid. The issuing Organization of the document is also displayed.
In the Existing flags table, any flags such as Pre-registered for admission are displayed. This allows all organizations within the education portal to share notes or markings on documents. In this way, organizations can ensure that one school report with an official electronic signature is not reused for admission at other organizations.
