Overview of school specific applications

The dashboard of the education portal offers an overview on all school specific functions and applications like time tables, classes or learning materials.

Official digital signature of documents

Principals and authorized employees can use the official digital signature to sign documents like school reports. Pupils and legal guardians can access these documents in their personal document archive.

Official notifications

Teachers and principals can officially notify parents, if students might not successfully complete the school year or transmit reports.

edu.digicard

The edu.digicard is available for all pupils. For pupils up to 14 years of age, their legal guardian can activate the edu.digicard. Pupils older than 13 years of age can activate the edu.digicard themselves using their ID Austria. More information

Automatic confirmation of school attendance

Confirmations of school attendance can be generated automatically through the education portal by employees, legal guardians and students. The confirmation of school attendance can be customized for each organization.

Manage consent of data transfers

The Federal Ministry of Education ensures that all partner applications participating in the education portal have concluded GDPR-compliant contracts and regulates with the partners which interfaces may be used by the respective applications (e.g. retrieval of user data, triggering of notifications). Users can view all applications connected to the education portal and their respective interfaces. Some applications may require the consent of the userfor the transfer of personal data to the application. This can be managed in the education portal.
