Do you miss school assignments or do you not see your children?

Pupils and legal guardians

The school affiliations of pupils and their legal guardians are recorded by the schools in the respective school administration program (e.g. Sokrates) and transmitted to the central register. Unfortunately, at present (as of September 2024) not all school administrations are connected to the register and are therefore missing completely. This concerns compulsory schools in Vienna (Wision), schools in Burgenland (WebAS), partly Upper Austria (e*SA) and Lower Austria (Edwin).

In all other cases, the assignments of pupils to school and class should appear correctly in the education portal and their legal guardians should be linked to their children. If these data and assignments do not appear in the education portal, the respective school should be contacted.

If you logged in with ID Austria, you can send a data correction request to the school. Open the data correction request form> by clicking the Send a data correction request link at the bottom of the dashboard.

Your personal data as registered in the Austrian Central Register of Residents (ZMR) or the Austrian Supplemental Register (ERnP) is displayed. Select the school and your role at this school and click OK.

All schools were informed about the introduction of the education portal by means of the decree BMBWF 2024/1 about the introduction of the education portal and can help you on the basis of the information contained therein.

Teachers and administrative staff

Teachers and administrative staff should primarily contact the human resources department if the school assignment in the does not appear in the education portal.

If it can be ruled out that the school assignment was not missing due to an error in the data maintenance the school can assign teachers and administrative staff via the function to the school independently.
