Do you miss school affiliations or do you not see your children?
There are several reasons why your affiliation with a school is missing or why your children are not listed. The following information can help you identify the problem and contact the appropriate office.
Pupils and legal guardians
The school affiliations of pupils and their legal guardians are recorded by the schools in the respective school administration system (e.g. Sokrates) and transmitted to the central register. Some school administration systems do not yet support the transmission of legal guardianship data. This affects compulsory schools in Vienna (Wision), schools in Burgenland (WebAS), and partly those in Upper Austria (e*SA) and Lower Austria (Edwin).
The affiliation of pupils with their school and class should be correctly displayed in the education portal, and their legal guardians should be linked to their children except for the school administration systems listed above. If this data or these affiliations are not displayed in the education portal, the respective school should be contacted.
If legal guardians have children at different schools, the data sets are consolidated, and the oldest active data set is treated as the master record.
If teachers are also legal guardians, the master data system for their own data is SAP. The master data system for the children is the central register. Any errors in their own data should be reported to the Human Resources department.
If you logged in with ID Austria, you can send a data correction request to the school. Open the data correction request form by clicking the Send a data correction request link at the bottom of the dashboard.
Your personal data as registered in the Austrian Central Register of Residents (ZMR) or the Austrian Supplemental Register (ERnP) is displayed. Select the school and your role at this school and click OK.
All schools were informed about the introduction of the education portal by means of the decree BMBWF 2024/1 about the introduction of the education portal and can help you on the basis of the information contained therein.
Teachers and administrative staff
Teachers and administrative staff should primarily contact the human resources department if the school affiliation is not displayed in the education portal.
If it can be ruled out that the school affiliation was not missing due to an error in the data maintenance the school can assign teachers and administrative staff via the function to the school independently.
